The story of Dewhirst Kitchens began in 1957 when Michael Dewhirst first founded the company.
Since the day we opened our Granby Street showroom, we have built up unrivalled knowledge and experience in the kitchen industry and the awards and top reputation within the Leicestershire community has followed.
Our passion for providing quality products led to Dewhirst Kitchens being one the founding members of KBSA – The Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialists Association.
Over time, our award winning kitchens have continued to be nominated for a variety of accolades, including being a NEFF Five Star Master Partner, and we were a winner of a KBB Review award in 2012.
This title recognises product knowledge, staff training and display commitment. As such, we are able to display the Neff Distinct Range which offers select products with added value, only available to the elite dealers.

After we celebrated our 60th birthday in 2017, there was even more reason to celebrate, when we won a special award from Dragon’s Den star Theo Paphitis!
The hugely successful entrepreneur is a big supporter of small businesses and rewards a select few that tweet him @TheoPaphitis on a Sunday evening and describe their businesses in one tweet including the all-important hashtag #SBS.
